1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by BSMG Shipping Group, a logistics and port services company based in Nouakchott, Mauritania. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Services Provided
BSMG offers the following services:
Vessel Agency Services
Port Operations & Cargo Handling
Project Cargo Logistics
Freight Forwarding & Customs Clearance
Heavy Transport & Lifting
Offshore Logistics Support
Warehousing Services
3. Quotations & Pricing
All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
Prices are subject to change based on fuel costs, port fees, and regulatory changes.
Final invoicing is based on actual weights, volumes, and services rendered.
4. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for:
Providing accurate cargo details (weight, dimensions, nature of goods).
Ensuring proper documentation for customs clearance.
Compliance with Mauritanian import/export regulations.
5. Liability
BSMG is not liable for delays caused by customs authorities, weather conditions, or port congestion.
Liability for cargo damage is limited to the value declared at the time of booking.
BSMG is not responsible for losses arising from inaccurate information provided by the client.
6. Payment Terms
Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed.
Late payments may incur a penalty of 1.5% per month.
BSMG reserves the right to hold cargo until full payment is received.
7. Confidentiality
All information shared between BSMG and its clients is treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without prior written consent.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. Any disputes shall be resolved through the competent courts of Nouakchott.
